Kijk Ma Zonder Handen #3
A gravel ride with truly delicious food, drinks, breathtaking routes and over-the-top prizes.
Butcher of Blue and Koppel Bikeshop have joined forces for the cycling event: Kijk Ma Zonder Handen.
And what a success it was again!
Kijk Ma Zonder Handen 2024 took place on September 15th at the Wagenwerkplaats in Amersfoort.
A social ride of 40, 60 or 80 km in Komoot on your Wahoo navi, after which you were completely pampered;
At the start, there was plenty of espresso from Moto Coffee to wake up, and power food from PurePower, bananas from Bionana and delicious croissants from De Nieuwe Stadsbakkers. Once the caffeine and bars started to kick in, the participants set off.
The pit stop was at our friends at Buiten in de kuil. With cookies, water and a pat on the back if needed.
For those who had tinkered with their bikes themselves, Koppel Bikeshop and Roek Cycleservice were on site for mechanical support and disapproving looks.
Upon return, the Dynamic stand was ready where you could clean your bike and apply chain oil, wax or day cream.
Meanwhile, star chef Marco Blok of Restaurant MEI had fired up the Bastard for the 'Bobster' – a delicious fennel sausage with vegetables and pasta. Spectacle and tall tales guaranteed. Uiltje Brewing provided the necessary refreshment.
NOS commentator Andries Lamain was present for cycling insights and Paul Rabbering provided the musical entertainment.
And when the participants, a little flushed, settled down on a trendy Weltevree bench, the real fun began: The grand TomBoMa.
A completely lavish, chaotic and hysterical prize festival where you really had to try hard not to win something.
From, among others: Shimano, 7mesh, Fujin and POC.
You missed out.
